New Drawings!

Hello! Angie of artangel here - just wanted to show off these two new coloured pencil drawings that I have added to my Etsy shop this week. I haven't done any proper, pure drawing for ages (though I often use some touches of coloured pencil in my mixed media work) but then this last week I've got the coloured pencil bug again! Hope you like them!

Santa Quilts Collage

I made this collage of Santa quilts in Photoshop. The collage isn't available for sale, but each individual Santa quilt is. I tried to take a multicultural approach with this project and represent a variety of characters from different countries. More information may be found in my shop.

Let The Fun Begin!!!!!!!!

Well my dear buds it is hard to believe that this year has flown by. Besides a tad of snow we got last night it sure does not seem that the holidays are almost here. So Mrs-I-Am-Always-Stuck-In-A-Brain-fog' best get it together as I do all of the cooking & Thursday sounds mighty close! And I cook enough for an army! I did however get my Christmas shopping done. (you are probably thinking "ass!!!")

My lil squirrel has not learned his lesson as he figured that because I just turned 54 (yikes!) that he could drink Tequila with Ol Ker on her birthday but once again..........he messed with the wrong 'Babe!' He is like a kid-they just do not learn from their mistakes!

I want to wish you all the HAPPIEST & HEALTHIEST of holidays to you & yours. May all your wishes come true in the New Year. A million hugs to you talented ladies & friends. Hugs & smooches,
Keri

ANGELS AMONG US....MEET MINE!

The last couple of weeks, I have been motivated to create "Angels". Along with that, I have started a new "ANGEL STORIES" feature out on my DZFANTASY blog. Click on the link below to learn how you can receive one of my FREE custom designed angels. The angels pictured in this post are already flying to their new homes, but more will be on their way to my DZFANTASY shop on Etsy!

The tiny angel above is 6.5' tall, with a silk face, which I individually hand-draw, needle-sculpt and hand-paint. Her accents are Swarovski crystals. It is this size angel that will be made for the lucky winner of my monthly "ANGEL STORIES" drawing.

The Holidays Will Be Here Fast!

It is amazing how fast this year went! And to think the holidays are just around the corner and catching up on us fast. So it was time for me to get working on some holiday dolls. With the economy I am not holding my breath-worst case scenario they will be nice presents. ~smiling~ Have a WONDERFUL weekend my talented dear friends. Sending tons of hugs!

Lily

originally Lily was going to be paired up with the Hag.
but as we all know plans change!

I have been working on two dolls at the same time. My original intent with Lily was to incorporate her in with my other gal. But, they seemed to not get along. So Lily is on her own.

You know it's not too soon...

You will be getting a tree in no time. But these cute ornies are neutral enough they can hang around all year long, as well.

In my Etsy shop.

Ornament with Mountain Scene

Along with some Christmas ornaments I'm making this year, I've decided to try a few with scenes on them...inspired by Maine's mountain and ocean vistas. Here's my first one:

I'd love to have your feedback.
